Welcome to the Spirit Cafe

It's another Friday night. And we have it all planned out for you. So if you're not sure what's on the menu come on by and check out the Spirit Cafe.

We'll cook and clean for you. There's a home-cooked meal waiting, and no dishes. If you've got kids we'll take care of them -- no babysitting fees. Over supper meet some new folk and catch up with friends ... then we'll explore a question of faith and look for how what you believe impacts how you live.

Got questions? Good. All questions are welcome at the cafe. Over dessert we meet as small groups of 6-10 people and discuss the theme for the night. You don't have to worry about knowing all the answers ahea dof time ... and the answers you discover may or may not match up with the people at your table. But together we keep learning more about God.

For Spring 2009 the big question is about purpose. Got one? Does your purpose come from the choices you make, your destiny or ... from the God who gave you life? Using recent movie clips and interviews with Rick Warren, as well as Warren's Purpose Driven Life we'll be looking for a new sense of purpose ... which is especially helpful in troubling times.
